There once was a dog named Spud
He loved to search for trouble in the mud
Then one bright day, the mailman came to say
A special package was on its way!

Spud jumped and howled
For days he looked to the clouds
Alas, his package was nowhere to be found
Back to the mud, spud ran round and round

A few sleeps later it had finally happened,
A special delivery, spud thoroughly examined
Only to find what he had longed for all along
A bunch of spuds, for him to belong
